5 reasons to become a member
Port Stephens FM is a not-for-profit, membership-based radio station broadcasting to our community and the greater Port Stephens area. Members are an important part of that community.
Why join
What membership means

As a community radio station we are limited in the revenue we can generate from sponsors. Revenue from our members is an important source of station financial support. All of our staff are unpaid volunteers, and all membership income is used to fund station operations.

Members have the right to attend and vote at general meetings. You would be welcome to attend and contribute your thoughts regarding station operations.

As a new member you would be invited to observe a presenter for up to an hour to experience station operations — even selecting a track or two.

Your child or grandchild would be invited to record a station promotion announcement to be used on-air.

You would be offered a birthday announcement for one of your children or grandchildren.
